Radical Pacifism

The army is a disgusting institution.
They are zombies conditioned to take orders without questioning. They are professional murderers.
Wherever they go, they kill, loot, maim, rape and terrorize the local population.
All of it is seen as being a necessary evil and condoned - as if this is a paradigm that cannot be questioned.
They are glamorized in mainstream culture for their strength, organization and efficiency : but the peaceful functions they perform  can easily be carried out by anybody with the right kind of training and equipment - in fact  firemen would suffice.
As for war, why would there be any war if there were no armies in the first place.
Army officers are power-drunk, wretched people - mostly corrupt. And a large fraction of the world economy is spent in maintaining these killers and their expensive toys (i mean guns).
As for the glorification of their martyrdom, the same happens with terrorists - and I see no great courage in fighting and dying when the situation is extremely desperate - it's a basic animal instinct - anybody could do it.
All governments and armies should be disbanded at once!
