a public rant

It is a pleasure to be able to scribble some words down in my own personal space after some lengthy discussions and tiring debates with several other people.

Some of them repose blind faith in the American school education system or at least in the basic principles behind it, quite a few among us (perhaps myself included) are a strange mixture of identity confusion, self-hatred and self-pity, and defensively vacuous pride, when it comes to comparing elements of our native culture to the dominant Western discourse in which we are embedded without much of a choice in the matter; some think introverts must make an effort to communicate, fit in and participate in group learning activities; while still others over-analyze matters to the point where it begins to sounds as if the only morally defensible way to have sex is to sign consent forms before the act.

This confusing mess of opinions and bad argument leaves me totally cold to the point that I would prefer quick and dirty solutions to grand theories that begin with  assumptions of  basic angelic well-intentionedness of people.
